Well, I've added a few more sets to my site.

The new sets are:

Hoppy Easter! Green
Hoppy Easter! Lavendar
Pink Mother's Day Gallon Set
Pink Mother's Day Standard Set
Name Thing - Courtney
Name Thing - Shawna

If you're not familiar with the Name Thing, it's an individual wrapper - beautifully designed (patting my own back) and you can place a special name on it to give as a gift.

My friend Darkstar1 started me on these. . .he makes beautiful designs. I have so many of them that I could cover a full wall. I've been thinking of doing that for my little girl. He's made some really special ones for her and my son. Somehow, I don't think my 'almost 13 year old' son would really appreciate them plastered on his wall. I'm thinking it's more of a GIRL thing. What do you think? LOL

Anyway, I am working on more sets to add - in between this thing I call "Life". If it were at all possible to add hours to our day, I would definitely go for it. Or better yet, if I could just bottle up my kids' energy - I could go on for days without sleep. I remember when I could stay awake for 2-3 days and not have any problems. Didn't do much driving, but luckily I had my hubby around who did most of the driving anyway. If I could only find that Fountain of Youth. WOO HOO!! I'd be RICH!!!

I'm drifting, again. I should be able to post several more sets by the end of this week. I'll keep you posted! Well it's time to wake up the kiddies and send them off to school. AHHHH!!

Thanks Much!

I've Been Busy!!

WHEW!! I have been really busy lately. I've launched a new site to accompany my That's A Wrap! site. It is called "FAVOR-able Keepsakes". Uh-huh! You guessed it! It's chockful of FAVORS for Weddings, Baby Showers, Plus much more!! I've been busy adding lots of product and uploading just as many pics.

This site also has General Merchandise; however, I'm thinking of putting that on yet another site. I'll let ya know, though. I will be adding Party Supplies, also. I'm trying to become a One-Stop Shopping Center. It's so much easier when you can get everything you need in one place, instead of going here and there.

I'm always open for suggestions, so if you can think of anything you'd particularly like to see and buy on-line, just send me an e-mail and I'll do my best to get it on my site.

I've been alittle lax on designing new sets for That's A Wrap!, but I will get going on that ASAP and let you know when I get them up.

Until then. . .Click on through to FAVOR-able Keepsakes and take a peek.

Thanks Much!

Hello There!!

Well, it's been a while! In that time, I've had the kids home for Christmas vacation (2 weeks), been sick, had the kids sick and then my 3 computers needed to be fixed. Really stinks not having ANY computer. I was having major withdrawals. . .no web pages to fix or set up, no emails to read or send, no SKYPE!! That was the worst. . .not being able to have my nightly chat with my friends.

Ya know, we sit on that thing talking about anything and everything:

Religion - not so much because we're all very religious, but mainly because I forget something and my kids come to me asking questions and then I have to (shamefully) get some help from my friends, and then it just goes from there. We've had some really interesting conversations. . .LOL.

Politics - we usually try to stay away from that topic, because it can get heated at times. One of the gals really dislikes talking about it, which I don't blame her but sometimes I just gotta put in my own 2 cents (more like 10 cents). Thankfully we can end it and still be friends.

Kids - Oh Boy!! This is probably the best topic we have. . .it's loaded!! From the sweetest things kids say to the "I need a drink" episodes. The ranges of our kids run from 3 to 32. We get and give advice, we cry and laugh, we're amazed, shocked and PROUD. The one thing that always pops up from me is "I prayed and prayed to God for my kids and now I just ask "Why Me?". LOL Through it all, we LOVE our kids - probably because we know we're not the only ones going through it!!!!!

People - Shame on us, but we do. It's not really the nasty, mean girls thing. . .but we do have our moments. We do enjoy talking about some celebrities (of the male persuasion). HEHEHE Just cause we're married, doesn't mean we're dead: As my husband and I say "We can look at the Menu, we just can't order"! We also enjoy discussing and googling people we admire.

Games - We love playing games online, Bingo is our favorite!!!!

Husbands - Talk about a loaded topic!!!!!!! Basically it's the same as the Kids, but in a taller, older and hairier (is that a word) scheme. It all ends the same though!!! I'd get into, but there is way too much to talk about, I'll save it for another day.

Our Work - We're all in the Candy Wrapping Business, so aside from the Kids this is the main topic. Anything and everything: designing, buying, customers, suppliers, colors, sizes, websites, competitors, ideas and opinions. We really enjoy what we do, and we have fun at it. There are times that we are so engrossed in what we're doing that there is silence on the headset. LOL It's funny, because we really don't know it's quiet until we finish with something and notice no one's talking. Diana and I are the worst at it, but it's still a good time!!!

Anyway, didn't mean to go on. . .okay, yes I did. After all this is a Blog. I've got 2 of my computers back and working. So I've got lots of work to do. . .gotta work on more designs.

Have a GREAT day!!!!

Thanks Much!

I do LOVE the Christmas Season

. . .except for all the running around and all the tasks and all the baking and all the card writing, but most of all the money leaving my hands! Ok, well truth be told, I don't really pay that much attention to that part of it, but OH BOY!!!! Andy sure does. I guess that's the part I don't care for so much!!

I was supposed to bake cookies today with my kids, but that didn't happen. . . crossing my fingers for tomorrow. Supposed to go shopping, again that didn't happen. I've been busy resizing my old sets and uploading to the site and having to make sure all the right buttons are pressed and the links get linked and so on and so on.

I've found so many sets that should have done, but they've only been started, so again I will be up most of the night fixing and finishing these sets.

I have to finish my Christmas cards which I started this past Monday, I have finally found or received all new addresses needed to send these out. I'm hoping to have them done by tomorrow night to be able to get them out on Monday!! We'll see how that goes. . .LOL

I so wish I could have my kids' lives, their day was so full today: Got up, watched TV, cleaned the living room (still in shock), went sledding, watched some more TV and played with the wii, went sledding again, now watching TV and talking with friends on the phone. To be young again!!

Well I need to finish my shopping list and work on some sets, have dinner and get to the store. More later when I can take a breather!!

Thanks Much!

Newbie to Blogging

OK, here we go:

My first thought: EEEEKK!! This blogging thing is so new to me, I'm afraid I'm going to mess it up somehow. I'm an intelligent woman, but all this configuration and setting up stuff is so foreign to me. So, when you come back to read the newest 'Thoughts & Ideas' and you can't find the page, you'll know why. I am hoping this is 'Gloria-Proof', unlike my website. My poor friend, Diana (
http://www.creative-juices.com/) has been coming to the rescue for me. As I said before, I am an intelligent woman, but somehow in the last couple of months while trying to set up my site, my brain has gone on vacation. I'm afraid by the time my site is completed I may not have a close friend in Diana! Praying and hoping against that. Crossing my fingers might help, too.

Anyway, I'll tell ya some about my family:

I married the Love of my Life (I know, corny - but true) back in 1993. Andy and I met when we were 18 and have been together ever since, 23+ years. Took us 8 years to get to the altar, though. Not sure if that was cold feet or what, but I'm glad we finally made it. Andy works for Kemp's Milk, driving a semi and delivering milk to the Target stores. NO, we don't get FREE milk, I wish. My family loves milk - at almost $4 a gallon I would save at least $16 a week if we did. Back to Andy: He is a great husband and father, although there are those times. . . LOL He helps out alot with cooking and cleaning around the house. . .serious, no lie. Jealous, aren't you?!! All-in-All, Andy is a keeper and wonderful man.

We have two GREAT kids: Armando (12) and Marcelina (7).

My son is reaching his 'Teen' years and we've been told those are the worst; however, he has jumped into those years a bit early. You know what I mean: I know everything and the parents don't know a thing. They don't understand what it's like to be a kid and have to go to school and have to follow rules. At school or at home. Like Get some sleep - Why? 3-4 hours is enough, I can sleep in school. Or Do your homework - I don't need it, I'm going to be a video game designer (fill in any other occupation if you want). Anyway, he does have a Heart of Gold. He's very caring and sensitive. He's a good kid.

My little girl. . . well she's just precious. . . MOST of the time. We have some major DIVA issues going on with this one. She's been told she's gorgeous since birth and when she was younger, she used to tell people she's gorgeous. Doesn't do it anymore, but I'm sure she would like to. For being so sweet and adorable, she can really be a BEAR in the mornings yet she gets more sleep than her brother, go figure. (imagine whining and a high-pitched voice) "Moooommmm, I'm still tired. . .it's dark, I didn't get any sleep"!! This is the downfall of the whole daylight savings thing and the earth's natural rotation. If it's dark out in the morning, it's still nighttime. . .and if it's still daylight at bedtime, heaven forbid she should have to go bed when there's still playtime available. Sweet child though - she's our peacemaker when there's any arguing. Kind of a conflict in personalities, don't ya think?!!

In a nutshell: I LOVE MY FAMILY!!

Well, that's it for now (you're probably thinking the same). I hope you'll enjoy coming back and reading what my thoughts are doing to me.

Thanks Much!
