. . .except for all the running around and all the tasks and all the baking and all the card writing, but most of all the money leaving my hands! Ok, well truth be told, I don't really pay that much attention to that part of it, but OH BOY!!!! Andy sure does. I guess that's the part I don't care for so much!!
I was supposed to bake cookies today with my kids, but that didn't happen. . . crossing my fingers for tomorrow. Supposed to go shopping, again that didn't happen. I've been busy resizing my old sets and uploading to the site and having to make sure all the right buttons are pressed and the links get linked and so on and so on.
I've found so many sets that should have done, but they've only been started, so again I will be up most of the night fixing and finishing these sets.
I have to finish my Christmas cards which I started this past Monday, I have finally found or received all new addresses needed to send these out. I'm hoping to have them done by tomorrow night to be able to get them out on Monday!! We'll see how that goes. . .LOL
I so wish I could have my kids' lives, their day was so full today: Got up, watched TV, cleaned the living room (still in shock), went sledding, watched some more TV and played with the wii, went sledding again, now watching TV and talking with friends on the phone. To be young again!!
Well I need to finish my shopping list and work on some sets, have dinner and get to the store. More later when I can take a breather!!
Thanks Much!

Newbie to Blogging
OK, here we go:
My first thought: EEEEKK!! This blogging thing is so new to me, I'm afraid I'm going to mess it up somehow. I'm an intelligent woman, but all this configuration and setting up stuff is so foreign to me. So, when you come back to read the newest 'Thoughts & Ideas' and you can't find the page, you'll know why. I am hoping this is 'Gloria-Proof', unlike my website. My poor friend, Diana (http://www.creative-juices.com/) has been coming to the rescue for me. As I said before, I am an intelligent woman, but somehow in the last couple of months while trying to set up my site, my brain has gone on vacation. I'm afraid by the time my site is completed I may not have a close friend in Diana! Praying and hoping against that. Crossing my fingers might help, too.
Anyway, I'll tell ya some about my family:
I married the Love of my Life (I know, corny - but true) back in 1993. Andy and I met when we were 18 and have been together ever since, 23+ years. Took us 8 years to get to the altar, though. Not sure if that was cold feet or what, but I'm glad we finally made it. Andy works for Kemp's Milk, driving a semi and delivering milk to the Target stores. NO, we don't get FREE milk, I wish. My family loves milk - at almost $4 a gallon I would save at least $16 a week if we did. Back to Andy: He is a great husband and father, although there are those times. . . LOL He helps out alot with cooking and cleaning around the house. . .serious, no lie. Jealous, aren't you?!! All-in-All, Andy is a keeper and wonderful man.
We have two GREAT kids: Armando (12) and Marcelina (7).
My son is reaching his 'Teen' years and we've been told those are the worst; however, he has jumped into those years a bit early. You know what I mean: I know everything and the parents don't know a thing. They don't understand what it's like to be a kid and have to go to school and have to follow rules. At school or at home. Like Get some sleep - Why? 3-4 hours is enough, I can sleep in school. Or Do your homework - I don't need it, I'm going to be a video game designer (fill in any other occupation if you want). Anyway, he does have a Heart of Gold. He's very caring and sensitive. He's a good kid.
My little girl. . . well she's just precious. . . MOST of the time. We have some major DIVA issues going on with this one. She's been told she's gorgeous since birth and when she was younger, she used to tell people she's gorgeous. Doesn't do it anymore, but I'm sure she would like to. For being so sweet and adorable, she can really be a BEAR in the mornings yet she gets more sleep than her brother, go figure. (imagine whining and a high-pitched voice) "Moooommmm, I'm still tired. . .it's dark, I didn't get any sleep"!! This is the downfall of the whole daylight savings thing and the earth's natural rotation. If it's dark out in the morning, it's still nighttime. . .and if it's still daylight at bedtime, heaven forbid she should have to go bed when there's still playtime available. Sweet child though - she's our peacemaker when there's any arguing. Kind of a conflict in personalities, don't ya think?!!
In a nutshell: I LOVE MY FAMILY!!
Well, that's it for now (you're probably thinking the same). I hope you'll enjoy coming back and reading what my thoughts are doing to me.
Thanks Much!
